Pinery Static questions

What is Pinery Static?
A WordPress plugin that exports your site to plain HTML and deploys it to Cloudflare Pages’ global CDN — pure PHP, no command line needed. Your site gets faster, safer and free to host, while you keep editing in WordPress as always.
Do I need Node.js, wrangler or a command line?
No. Crawling, hashing and the Cloudflare Direct Upload are all written in PHP and run in short batches, so the plugin works on ordinary shared hosting that kills long requests.
Do comments, search and contact forms still work?
With Pro, yes — they are proxied to your WordPress through its REST API, so moderation, spam filtering and the wp-admin screens are unchanged. The Free plan exports pages only, so dynamic features need Pro.
Does WordPress have to stay online?
Yes, for editing and for the dynamic features. Visitors are served from Cloudflare, so traffic no longer hits your server, and the static pages keep loading even if WordPress is briefly down.
Can I keep my existing domain?
Yes. Pro includes a same-domain migration: your DNS moves to Cloudflare, WordPress answers on a hidden origin, and a bundled Worker router serves static pages first and sends wp-admin and anything not yet exported to WordPress. Rolling back is just removing the Worker route.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. Product and shop pages can be exported for SEO, and Pro live-hydrates prices and stock from the Store API. Add-to-cart goes straight to WordPress, so cart, checkout and account always stay dynamic.
How do changes reach the static site?
On Free, click Export & Deploy — only changed pages, their archives and the home page are re-crawled. On Pro, publishing or editing content redeploys automatically in the background.
Does it work with my theme or page builder?
It exports what your site actually renders, so any theme or builder (Gutenberg, Elementor, Beaver Builder and others) works, including paginated listings.
Is hosting on Cloudflare Pages really free?
Cloudflare’s free plan includes Pages with unlimited bandwidth, which covers most sites. Individual files over Cloudflare’s 25 MiB limit are skipped and listed so you can host them elsewhere.
Is my Cloudflare API token stored safely?
It is encrypted at rest with your site’s keys, or you can keep it out of the database entirely by defining WP2CF_API_TOKEN in wp-config.php.
How does licensing work?
Pro is a one-time payment of $299 per site, with lifetime updates and priority support. Your settings carry over when you upgrade from Free.
Does it work together with Pinery Flow?
They are built as a pair. Flow writes and publishes affiliate content into WordPress; with auto-deploy on, every Flow publish re-exports just the changed pages.
